seeking qualified forklift drivers that have experience in the shipping department.

Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Pay: $15.00/hr-$17.00/hr based upon experience.

• Pull product matching pick lists product lines.
• Examine contents and compare with records, such as Global Shop to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
• Package products professionally and ensuring it is safe from damage, looks good and is secure for transportation.
• Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock using Kanban system.
• Input data per pick list into computer system/scanners.
• Move product and store product into location using visual management.
• Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 6 months or more of consistent forklifting experience.
• Must have the ability to read and follow pick lists and logistics procedures.
• Willing to learn 5S principles and Lean processes.
• Must demonstrate self-motivation.
• Be willing and able to work the schedule required of the Material Handler
• Attention to detail.
• Use critical thinking skills to properly organize stock including like-items, backfills, incoming and outgoing inventory

  Must have basic computer skills and ability to navigate and utilize the Global Shop system.

  Must have forklift experience and ability to train and certify in its operation.
